Privacy Policy

Effective date: 9 October 2026

This website, Safe Wave Online (https://safewaveonline.com/), is owned and operated by Carttenders, Lda, a company registered in Portugal (VAT PT517475855) with its registered office at Rua Fradesso da Silveira, N.º 4, 3.º B, 1300-609 Lisboa, Portugal. Carttenders, Lda is the data controller for the personal data collected on this website, as described in this policy.

This policy applies only to this website. It does not apply to any other website you reach from a link here, each of which has its own privacy policy.

This page explains what information we collect on this website, why, who we share it with and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us

The email address you enter in the sign-up form. It is passed to the Provider’s checkout to start your registration. If you write to us, we keep your message and your email address for as long as needed to deal with it.

Information collected automatically

When you visit, our servers and analytics record technical information such as your IP address, device type, browser type and version, language, the pages you view, the date and time of your visit and the page you came from. Where you arrive from one of our advertisements, we also record the advertising click identifiers included in the link (for example Google click IDs) so we can measure which campaigns lead to sign-ups.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to run the website and remember your language, and advertising-measurement cookies set by Google Ads to measure and, where you have consented, personalise our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website keeps working without non-essential cookies.

How we use the information

We use the information to operate and secure this website, to start your registration with the Provider, to measure and improve the performance of our advertising campaigns, to respond to your messages, and to comply with our legal obligations.

Legal bases

Under the GDPR we rely on: the performance of steps you request before a contract (passing your email to the Provider’s checkout); our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving the website and measuring our advertising; your consent for non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time; and compliance with legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. It may be handled by: the Provider, which receives your email address and the campaign identifiers needed to complete your registration; our hosting provider; our analytics provider; and Google (Google Ads conversion measurement and remarketing). Authorities may receive data where we are legally required to disclose it.

You can review Google’s practices at https://policies.google.com/privacy and manage ad personalisation at https://myadcenter.google.com.

Following a link from this site takes you to a separate website run by a different company. What happens to your information there is governed by their privacy policy, not this one. We encourage you to read it before entering any personal or payment details.

Payments and your subscription

We do not collect, store or process payment card details. Payment, billing, account and subscription data are processed by the Provider and its payment processors under their own privacy policies. Requests about that data (for example cancellation or account deletion) can be sent to support@safewaveonline.com and are passed to the Provider.

How long we keep it

Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and diagnostics and then deleted or anonymised. Advertising measurement data is kept for no longer than 26 months. Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the matter and to keep a reasonable record.

Transfers outside your country

Some of the providers we use may process data outside your country, including outside the EEA and the UK. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place, such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

Security

This website is served over HTTPS, so the information you enter is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the data we hold.

Your rights

If you are in the EU, EEA or UK you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to receive it in a portable format and to withdraw consent. Depending on where you live, including some US states, you may have similar rights to access, correct or delete your data. To exercise any of these rights, email support@safewaveonline.com; we respond within one month. You may also complain to your national data protection authority. In Portugal this is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).

Links to other sites

This website links to the Provider’s checkout and may link to other sites we do not operate. Their privacy policies, not this one, apply there. We encourage you to read them before entering any personal or payment details.

Children

This website and the Service are not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The new version is posted on this page with an updated effective date at the top.
